mohito 3

Who doesn’t love a mojito? But… not everyone is a fan of rum. No worries – we just take off the booze and make it family friendly. And to give it a little extra summer vibe – we throw in some watermelon!

Imagine this: lime, mint, brown sugar, lots of ice, sparkling water, and juicy watermelon bursting with sweetness. Mash it, stir it, and voilà – you’ve got a glass of summer ready to cool you down.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lime
  • 5–6 pieces of watermelon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 30 ml mint syrup (or non-alcoholic mint)
  • 7–8 fresh mint leaves
  • 100 ml sparkling water
  • Ice (the more, the better)

How to Make It:

  1. Cut the lime into pieces and toss them into a glass.
  2. Add the sugar and mint, then mash everything well to mix the flavors.
  3. Throw in the watermelon, mash it too, and let the magic happen.
  4. Pour in the mint syrup, fill the glass with ice, top it off with sparkling water, stir, and enjoy!

One glass just isn’t enough. So if you’re smart, make a whole pitcher, place it in the middle of the table, and watch everyone smile. Even kids can sip it – bonus!

Perfect for barbecues, hammock afternoons, or any time you want something cold, sweet, and slightly tangy, with zero regrets. Feeling adventurous? Swap watermelon for melon – it pairs amazingly with mint!
