Who doesn’t love a mojito? But… not everyone is a fan of rum. No worries – we just take off the booze and make it family friendly. And to give it a little extra summer vibe – we throw in some watermelon!
Imagine this: lime, mint, brown sugar, lots of ice, sparkling water, and juicy watermelon bursting with sweetness. Mash it, stir it, and voilà – you’ve got a glass of summer ready to cool you down.
Ingredients:
- 1 lime
- 5–6 pieces of watermelon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 30 ml mint syrup (or non-alcoholic mint)
- 7–8 fresh mint leaves
- 100 ml sparkling water
- Ice (the more, the better)
How to Make It:
- Cut the lime into pieces and toss them into a glass.
- Add the sugar and mint, then mash everything well to mix the flavors.
- Throw in the watermelon, mash it too, and let the magic happen.
- Pour in the mint syrup, fill the glass with ice, top it off with sparkling water, stir, and enjoy!
One glass just isn’t enough. So if you’re smart, make a whole pitcher, place it in the middle of the table, and watch everyone smile. Even kids can sip it – bonus!
Perfect for barbecues, hammock afternoons, or any time you want something cold, sweet, and slightly tangy, with zero regrets. Feeling adventurous? Swap watermelon for melon – it pairs amazingly with mint!
