Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football superstar, is officially engaged to his longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez after eight years together. The news was revealed by Rodríguez herself in an Instagram post, where she proudly displayed a dazzling oval-shaped diamond engagement ring. Alongside the photo, she wrote: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
The couple first met in early 2017 and have since built a large and close-knit family. They are raising five children together: twins Eva María and Mateo, who are now eight years old; daughters Alana (7) and Bella (3); as well as Cristiano Jr., Ronaldo’s 15-year-old son from a previous relationship. In April 2022, the family endured heartbreak when Bella’s twin brother, Ángel, passed away shortly after birth.
Their first official public appearance as a couple took place in January 2017 at the FIFA Best Awards in Zurich. A few months later, they confirmed their romance on social media. Reflecting on those early days, Rodríguez once shared: “He often came to see me after work. My colleagues couldn’t believe it — they would leave by bus, while I left in a luxury car.
